Update 11/16/2011 . The Handbrake Lever mounting pin (screw) Part #32 72 2310753 head was previously damged, so despite extensive efforts to reove with a 5mm hex; I'll have to drill the screw out. A new Magura assembly from BMW is $361, so I though it best to have the screw removed and replaced by a professional.
